We’re all about t-shirts here at Kuji Shop, but some of our absolute favourites have to be screen printed tees. Luckily for you we have a great range for men and women…
It might be the fact that they’re all printed by hand, locally, using nothing but natural inks and dyes? Or it might be the fact that they’re all printed in limited runs, so you can be guaranteed something perfectly unique to you? Or it might be that we use artwork by emerging, underground artists and designers? OR it might be the fantastic quality you can only get with the silk screen process?
Who knows, maybe it’s a massive mixture of all the above? Probably.
So with these factors in mind, and a bit of Sun over the weekend, we thought it was about time we had a whole blog post dedicated to the amazingness that is screen printed t-shirts. Read on for our pick of the bunch.
This four-way screen printed design is actually a Kuji Shop exclusive – it’s by The Hyspanic Gentleman as part of our Dirtyface VS Kuji Shop range and we love it. Available over four colours, the design makes great use of screen printing by showing how it can keep even the smallest, most intricate dots and dashes sharp as a knife edge.
We’re fully aware that t-shirts aren’t just limited to the standard crew neck style, or just for blokes! We have a great range of screen printed t-shirts for women too. This Circle design is another favourite of ours, as part of our TeeBag Designs range, it’s a charcoal grey colour print over a white women’s tunic. Again, the screen printing process leaves a lovely soft texture and the pattern stays sharp after washing.
Check out the colours on this beauty – light teal and raspberry red make up this ‘Birds’ design t-shirt by Crow and Dunnage. Another great thing about screen printing is the pure colour results you get every time, that stay bright and vibrant even after washing.
This sort of quality is only guaranteed by screen printing and the bespoke nature in which our t-shirts are produced. We reckon you won’t get anything like this on the high street!
Now we couldn’t talk about our fave t-shirts without including a good old text tee! Especially a funny one. Just wear this “I Stopped Listening to You” t-shirt every Monday morning and you’re laughing – no need to speak at all and you can hide behind your computer knowing that you’ll be left in peace. The screen printing process shines again here as the hand drawn text looks like it’s been drawn directly onto the garment. What do you think?
If that hasn’t introduced you to how amazing screen printing and screen printed t-shirts are, then we really don’t know what will. Of course that’s just a taster of our full range of screen printed t-shirts, and we also have a huge range of t-shirts, tops and tanks for ladies too.
Which is your favourite one? Tweet us with the hash tag #KujiShopTshirt telling us which you like and why, and you could be in with a chance of winning it!
